Cordell

I could burrow into the earth, until I reach its center,
Excavate a little space, lie down in it and stop,
Leave the thoughts on the surface of my hideout,
At the mouth of the tunnel, like discarded, old clothes,
No one has a any need for anymore.

I could crawl into the sky, nowhere near any heaven,
Plump a moist, fluffy, gray cloud and lie down on it,
Fall down in it and get lost in wispy, opaque nothingness,
Having  thrown out my drawers full of thought at every turn,
One by one, letting them flood the meaninglessness left behind.

Thanks. I was a little bit inspired by your keeping up with posting somewhat regularly on your newly opened blog. :-)
